As part of a dramatic restructuring of Weatherford International Ltd., the company has selected Dianne Ralston to be executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. The appointment also will merge the oil and natural gas company’s legal and compliance department.
The move is the latest in a series of big changes at the company. Last month, the shareholders voted to move the headquarters from Switzerland to Ireland. And this past January, the company announced it would cut costs by eliminating almost 7,000 jobs and divesting four businesses by the end of 2015.
