Frontier Airlines on Monday named Howard Diamond as its new senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.

Diamond comes to Frontier with nearly 15 years of in-house experience, including previous stints in the aerospace sector. Up until June of this year, Diamond served as VP, GC and secretary for data-management company Thales USA, where he’d worked since 2008. Before to Thales, Diamond served as chief counsel at BAE Systems Land and Armaments and GC of Stewart and Stevenson’s Tactical Vehicles Division. He also practiced government contracts law with Sherman & Howard in the firm’s Colorado Springs office.
