A top in-house attorney at New York-based Citigroup Inc. has made a reverse commute back to the law firm. Elizabeth Sacksteder, most recently the deputy general counsel and global head of litigation and regulatory investigations at the financial services company, joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison as a New York-based partner focusing on complex litigation and regulatory matters, the firm announced in a statement Monday.
“I am thrilled to be joining Paul Weiss and the firm’s preeminent litigation department,” said Sacksteder. “I look forward to practicing with this outstanding group of attorneys, many of whom I have had the pleasure of working with while at Citigroup.”
