What do you think of this month’s four cover illustrations? I hope you like them; we at Corporate Counsel Central think they’re pretty nifty. Without any words or superfluous imagery, they tell the story of this months’s cover story—or, at least, the text part of it.

Every year for this “Who Represents America’s Biggest Companies” survey issue, we’re confronted with a challenge: How do we fill four covers and make it editorially valid? We used to fulfill the mission more conventionally, by figuring out which four people were relevant to the story we’re running and doing four photo shoots. Then we’d come up with four distinct cover headlines, with blurbs for the other stories that are contained in the issue.
