It’s National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a time to be aware of the dangers that companies face when they leverage high-tech options. And according to a new report from PricewaterhouseCoopers, companies still have a lot of work to do to stay safe online and protect themselves from emerging threats.

The Global State of Information Survey 2015 paints a picture of a cybersecurity landscape in which the volume of incidents is growing. But it’s been challenging for companies, particularly relatively small ones, to pull together the resources and know-how to stay on the cutting edge of new security developments. The survey, which was conducted by PwC along with CIO and CSO magazines earlier this year, is based on more than 9,700 responses from business and cybersecurity leaders in more than 154 countries.
