Karen Leetzow is shifting gears with her promotion to senior vice president and deputy general counsel of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing Inc. (better known across America as NASCAR), where she will have responsibility for the daily operations of the legal department and oversee litigation.
“Karen provides invaluable legal leadership and strategic guidance to NASCAR, IMSA and all our properties,” said Gary Crotty, senior vice president and general counsel, in a statement. “She is one of the most versatile leaders in our organization, a team player who executives seek out frequently for more than just legal counsel.”
