The BTI Consulting Group has made a list and checked it twice. A recent post on Michael Rynowecer’s blog indicates which firms corporate counsel say provide the best client service. “This year, the unexpected leaders prove they’re here to stay, and the Davids and Goliaths of the legal world continue their ongoing battle for client service excellence,” he says. BTI spoke with more than 300 leading corporate counsel to compile the results.

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom (hardly a David, as it ranked No. 4 in this year’s Am Law 100) came out on top for client service. “According to corporate counsel, Skadden is the undisputed leader in delivering the absolute best client service this year,” which includes more attention from senior partners and in-depth discussions around business strategy and impact, Rynowecer says.
