Technology companies and their backers are flooding the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit with filings in support of Microsoft Corp.’s bid to quash a U.S. government search warrant for customer data the tech giant has stored overseas.

The Second Circuit by the end of Monday should have 10 amicus briefs from dozens of organizations and individuals who are urging the court to reverse a district judge’s dismissal of Microsoft’s request, Brad Smith, the company’s general counsel, said earlier that day.
