Coffee breaks are on the clock for Thomas Mattei in his new role as general counsel and executive officer for Farmer Bros. Co. He was formerly vice president and corporate counsel of the manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor of coffee, tea and culinary products, and led the company’s corporate, strategic and tactical legal initiatives.

“Tom has done a tremendous job in many areas across the company from both the legal and business point of view,” said president and chief executive officer Michael Keown, in a statement. “Both the senior leaders of the company and the board of directors have acknowledged his sizable contributions to the turnaround at Farmer Brothers.”
