New year, new general counsel at Encana Corp. Joanne Alexander has been named executive vice president and general counsel at the Canadian energy company, replacing retiring GC Terry Hopwood, according to an Encana representative. The Calgary-headquartered company announced the news in a tweet sent out by its corporate account.
