When you crack open a beer in the backyard this summer or order up a cold one at your local bar, is it really clear exactly what you’re drinking? The suit, filed by California home brewer—and former Blue Moon drinker—Evan Parent, raises issues about the authenticity of branding foods and beverages that are especially important in an era when some consumers are putting a premium on food and drink created in smaller and less corporate environments.
