More and more money is changing hands digitally, and not just via Apple Watch. The latest transfer is at mobile payment technology company YapStone Inc., which has named David Durant its general counsel. He will be leading the company’s legal, compliance and government affairs initiatives.

“David is truly one of the leading legal experts in the payments industry,” said Tom Villante, the company’s chairman, chief executive officer and co-founder, in a statement. “We are very fortunate to have a general counsel with vast domestic and international payments expertise to lead YapStone’s legal and compliance initiatives.”
