Keeping a company ethical and compliant takes a concerted effort from every department and function on the org chart. All employees need to take responsibility for their own actions in order to get the best results for the team. However, new data from LRN, a corporate culture and ethics advisory firm, indicates that having committed compliance “superstars” from the C-suite can make a big difference in the company’s E&C performance.

The insight on the role of standout compliance leaders was one of several takeaways from LRN’s “2015 Ethics and Compliance Program Effectiveness Report,” a study of the impact of more than 250 compliance programs. The report weighs the success of these E&C regimes on a Program Effectiveness Index, and then identifies which factors correlate with the top programs.
