A company can have a top-flight ethics and compliance team, mountains of cash in its E&C budget and the most high-tech compliance monitoring systems around, but without sufficient training for employees, all of that probably won’t mean very much.

The second annual Ethics and Compliance Training Benchmark Report from E&C experts NAVEX Global provides a glimpse into the world of employee training, and what sorts of challenges companies face in this area, based on data collected from 677 E&C program heads. It seems that one of the biggest fears for companies is that employees will become cynical about the training process, sabotaging the ethical culture that their employers are striving to build.
