AMAG Pharmaceuticals has appointed Joseph Vittiglio as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. He will be overseeing all legal affairs of the Waltham, Massachusetts-headquartered company that produces products in maternal health, anemia management and cancer supportive care.
“Joe’s legal expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and transaction experience will be a tremendous asset to AMAG,” said Frank Thomas, president and chief operating officer at AMAG, in prepared remarks.
