General counsel Gwen Mattison, who worked for Wright State University for 33 years, has resigned her post amid a federal investigation into foreign visas at the Dayton, Ohio, area school.

University President David Hopkins announced Sept. 2 that Mattison reached a $300,000 “mutual separation agreement” with the school. As part of the ongoing federal probe, she had been suspended since May 4.
