• Scope: “Russia’s Data Localization Law has a potentially wide reach,” they say. It includes companies that process (meaning collect, store or alter) personal data. Websites that “target Russia,” as evidenced by the use of a Russian domain name or a Cyrillic version of the website would also be caught.
