Longtime Prudential Financial corporate counsel Timothy Harris is being promoted to executive vice president and general counsel, following the retirement of Susan Blount, who is set to leave the financial services company in January.

“It is a great credit to Susan that we have a talented bench within our law and compliance departments, and can seamlessly transition the role of general counsel to Tim,” said chief executive officer John Strangfeld in prepared remarks.
