However, for in-house counsel, when it comes to discussing legal budgets with law firms, the right questions are critical. • Resources: “Does the law firm have appropriate and adequate resources to deliver the work described in the budget?” It’s a question that goes to staffing and subject matter expertise. The authors note that there can be gaps in the capabilities and even the most well-respected firms.
