You’ve just come back from a sweaty run and go to grab a sports drink. Is it Gatorade or do you accidentally reach for Haterade? Yes, that’s right: Active Sports Distribution and DuraCap Labs has named their supplement Haterade, according to Tiffany Blofield writing in the Duets Blog.

Stokely-Van Camp, the owner of the Gatorade mark is hating this brand, even though the newer drink offers users, “sick pumps and incredible testosterone supporting ingredients.” Blofield says the company is suing Haterade-makers in a trademark lawsuit, alleging that the Gatorade mark is being damaged. They are bringing claims for dilution of a famous mark, trademark infringement, false designation of origin and various other claims, such as unfair competition, she says.
