Bentley Systems, a software company catering to construction professionals such as architects, engineers and contractors, helping them sustain infrastructure, has a new general counsel. David Shaman, who joined the company in 1998, is taking on the gig, replacing retiring senior vice president David Nation.
“During his tenure as deputy general counsel, [Shaman] earned the trust of our executive team, has been instrumental in the successful negotiation of major commercial contracts, and has helped consummate key acquisitions around the globe,” said Greg Bentley, chief executive officer, in prepared remarks.
