It’s time to pack up the boxes for Robert Goldberg. He’s moving to Berlin Packaging, a hybrid packaging supplier of plastic, glass and metal containers, as the company’s first general counsel. He will assume responsibility for all legal matters, such as customer and supplier contracts, intellectual property, disputes and compliance. He will also serve on the executive leadership team.
“Hiring in-house counsel at this stage in our growth is an investment we are making to accelerate the completion of new contracts, agreements, and other legal matters that arise as we continue to expand our footprint,” said Andrew Berlin, chairman and chief executive officer, in prepared remarks. “Rob’s depth and breadth of experience and interpersonal fit make him an ideal hire to meet our legal needs as well as to participate in the business development decisions.”
