Halloween is here. And for many companies, it means either throwing a party for employees who want to let loose and show off creative, funny or scary costumes, or at least letting them wear their Halloween gear to work. Sounds like a great way to boost worker morale, right? Well, most of the time.

Costumes may be a fun way to spread the Halloween spirit, but they can also pose problems for companies when employees’ outfits move into the realm of offensive or reveal a little too much. Companies should encourage workers to leave certain types of costumes at home in order to avoid conflict and claims of harassment and discrimination.
