KPMG in the United Kingdom has nabbed the Boston Consulting Group’s Jeremy Barton, according to Kathryn McCann of Legal Business. He replaces Vanessa Sharp, who served in the position for 18 years and retired in May.

“Jeremy has been an important part of BCG and has made a significant contribution to the firm,” a representative told Legal Business. According to his company profile, Barton was responsible for all legal and compliance matters at BCG and was a member of the executive committee. As European and global general counsel, he led a team of lawyers in the United States and Europe. Previously, he was the European and deputy general counsel at Andersen and the global general counsel at Ernst & Young.
