It may be worse than doing the laundry. But Sharon Quinn Dixon of Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson says it’s imperative to closely review any new vendor agreements, especially when it comes to employee benefit plans.
“When your employees’ benefits are involved and errors are made, there always is a chance that unhappy employees will turn their anger toward you,” she says. To minimize this, look to whether the agreement includes indemnity claims for the employer or liability insurance is things go wayward.
