The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently released its annual Performance and Accountability Report, which provided a window into some of the commission’s achievements in fiscal year 2015. The report showed that the EEOC, which turned 50 this year, hasn’t slowed down. In 2015, the commission secured more than $525 million for people who alleged workplace discrimination.

The stats in this year’s report, as analyzed by Littler Mendelson, indicate that the EEOC is continuing to devote attention to some key areas, notably investigations of systemic cases that have a wide impact on employees, companies or industries, as well as cases that fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
