Since September, eight new Section 337 complaints have been filed with the commission. The number of investigations instituted in recent years is still lower than the peak years of 2011-12, but if all the complaints result in institution by the ITC, that would bring the total of new Section 337 investigations instituted to 33 during calendar year 2015.
