Corporate counsel aren’t easy to please. Last June, when BTI Consulting put together its annual ranking of the best law firms for customer service, it found that only a third of in-house lawyers would recommend their primary law firm to a peer. In a recent blog post, BTI’s Michael Rynowecer offered some insight into what the highest-rated law firms are doing right. Here are some traits Rynowecer says in-house counsel look for in outside counsel:
• Client feedback: It’s important for in-house counsel to see that their feedback is appreciated. Rynowecer says that firms rating the highest with clients had “the most well designed and robust client feedback programs.”
