The Minority Corporate Counsel Association named Jean Lee as the chief executive officer on Thursday. Lee, an assistant general counsel at JPMorgan Chase & Co., will be the first Asian-American to head the organization.

Lee, who will start in mid-March, brings years of experience both as an attorney and as an advocate for diversity in the legal profession to her new role. She will replace Joseph West, who recently joined Duane Morris as a partner and chief diversity and inclusion officer.
