During a speaking engagement on Monday, Facebook Inc.’s chief security officer reiterated the company’s support for Apple Inc. in its fight against the U.S. government over unlocking the iPhone belonging to one of the shooters in December’s San Bernardino attacks.

Speaking at a launch event for New York University’s new Center for Cyber Security, Alex Stamos slammed the government’s efforts to get Apple to build software that would allow the FBI to bypass the iPhone’s encryption.
