Only four months after stepping into the general counsel role at Microsoft Corp., Horacio Gutierrez is heading to a new gig at Spotify USA Inc.

Gutierrez confirmed via Twitter that he will start work in April at the music service. He was appointed to the Microsoft GC in November as part of a broader legal department shuffle, replacing Brad Smith, who became president and chief legal officer at the tech giant.
