Daniel Trujillo was in New York last week for Ethisphere Institute’s annual conference. He is the global chief of compliance for Wal-Mart International, a branch of the retail giant that operates in 27 countries outside of the United States. Trujillo and Editor-in-Chief Anthony Paonita chatted in Corporate Counsel’s newsroom about the progress of the company’s comprehensive compliance and ethics program, which Trujillo was hired in 2012 to implement following a bribery scandal in Mexico.
