After working his way up the ladder at Booz Allen Hamilton, Douglas Manya has been named the top lawyer at Herndon, Virginia-based LGS Innovations, an Alcatel-Lucent spin-off that provides communications technology to businesses and the federal government.

LGS announced on March 23 that Manya is the company’s new executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. He’s been with the company since February, according to his LinkedIn profile. Manya replaces Michael Garson, who is continuing on with the company as its chief administrative officer.
