When Rashidah Hasan, general counsel of Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey, arrived at work one week ago, she received a letter stating she’s been suspended indefinitely. The same day, the college’s president, Gale Gibson, received the same type of letter.
The two suspensions come after allegations that Gibson was misusing school funds, and that an investigation was underway.
