After a relatively short stint as Hertz Global Holdings’ general counsel, Thomas Sabatino Jr. is headed to health insurer Aetna.

Sabatino will formally take the reins as Aetna’s GC on April 25. He’s succeeding William Casazza, who is staying on with the company as a strategic adviser for the pending acquisition of Humana. Casazza is set to retire once the proposed $37 billion merger closes, according to a recent statement.
