It’s a rush to the realtor as lawyers are selling their homes to prepare for retirement. Well, not quite, but Bower Private Clients, a retirement lending specialist based out of the United Kingdom, surveyed 101 lawyers in February and found 29 percent of them plan to fund at least some of their retirement using property investment.
“The wealth tied up in homes is a potential source of retirement funding but people who want to remain in their own properties can struggle to access the money efficiently,” said Andrea Rozario, Bower’s chief corporate officer, in a statement.
