The U.S Supreme Court is likely to have a lot of intellectual property cases on its docket, according to a new piece by Scott Graham, who covers IP for our California-focused sibling publication The Recorder.
In his piece, “Supreme Court Split Gives Boost to IP Cases,” Graham explains that, of the 12 cases the high court has agreed to hear next term, three involve IP. If that trend continues, we could see repeat of the 2013-14 term, when the justices decided a historic 10 IP cases. That number dropped to five the next term and just three this year.
