In-house counsel in the U.K. expect their companies to spend more on compliance in the next five years, according to a new report conducted by Legal Week Intelligence, a subsidiary of ALM Media, and the U.K. law firm Pinsent Masons.

The report, “Holding Back the Flood: Innovation and the Search for Efficiency in Regulatory Compliance,” is based on phone interviews with 100 general counsel, in-house lawyers and compliance personnel, 61 percent of which were based in the U.K.
