Another tanning salon accused of making dubious health claims has settled with New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
In a press release issued on Wednesday, Schneiderman announced a settlement with Buffalo-based Total Tan Inc., which operates in New York and Pennsylvania. Total Tan will pay no fines for past advertisements but agreed to pay $5,000 per day for any future health misrepresentations and $500 for each future violation of New York tanning laws.
