Office Depot Inc. on Monday named Stephen Calkins, a former deputy general counsel who switched to the business side for several years, as its new chief legal officer. And he plans to put his business knowledge to work.
“As Office Depot’s new chief legal officer, I’m looking forward to utilizing my experience in both corporate law and in leading the company’s contract sales division to provide the broad business perspective so important in today’s increasingly complex legal environment,” Calkins says.
