Following the completed sale of DreamWorks Animation to NBCUniversal Media LLC, several key executives at the animation studio have lost their jobs, including general counsel Andrew Chang.
NBC’s acquisition of DreamWorks formally closed on August 22, according a Form 8-K DreamWorks filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that same day. DreamWorks said in the filing that, because of the NBC deal, Chang has ceased serving as GC. DreamWorks also parted ways with its financial chief, accounting chief and president.
