The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced Thursday that a former federal prosecutor known for his national security work will be its new general counsel.
Michael Farbiarz, a senior fellow at the New York University School of Law, will take the reins of the Port Authority’s 127-employee law department on Tuesday. He takes over from former Southern District Judge Richard Holwell, who left the bench in 2012 to form Holwell Shuster & Goldberg.
