In-house intellectual property attorneys spend a huge amount of time managing their budgets, according to a new study from IP management and analytics company Lecorpio.

In its first “Budgeting and Forecasting Study,” released Sept. 15, Lecorpio asked corporate attorneys responsible for managing IP budgets about this aspect of their job. The overwhelming majority of the respondents—90 percent—said that managing their IP budgets is either somewhat or very time-consuming.
