SAN FRANCISCO — Square Inc. hired Hillary Smith as its newest general counsel, the company announced Wednesday. Smith joins the San Francisco-based mobile payments company from Zenefits Inc., which she joined as GC in July 2015.
“Square is a purpose-driven company with a long track record of innovation, and I’m excited to work alongside the team as they continue to take the company—and the entire financial services industry—forward,” Smith said in a news release.
