When the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday, Cassie Sadowitz will be cheering them on. But she’s not just any fan. She’s the team’s general counsel.

A longtime sports fan, the now 28-year-old landed a role two years ago as the Jaguars’ deputy GC. She’s one half of the Jaguars’ in-house legal team, reporting to chief legal officer Megha Parekh. Parekh joined the department in 2013 and after one year knew that she’d need backup as the Jaguars franchise was expanding. Stadium improvements were underway, and owner Shad Khan was acquiring different companies.
