Tracy Daw stepped into the role of general counsel of pop culture toy maker Funko in July. He’s serving as the first in-house lawyer at the Everett, Washington-based company after four years as GC for traffic and connected driver services company Inrix.

Funko, which makes vinyl figures, plush toys and apparel, is in high growth mode. Earlier this month, an official announcement went out with news of Daw’s hire, as well as an incoming COO and CIO. “Tracy’s deep legal knowledge and background will provide the oversight and structure needed as we execute on our growth strategy,” said Brian Mariotti, president and CEO of Funko, in the Nov. 15 press release.
