Having been amended in December 2015, the changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) have had a considerable amount of time to settle into the minds of the lawyers and judges tasked with interpreting them.

Or so one may think. With many things at that intersection of law and technology, clarity may still be some time away. As U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez of the Western District of Texas said, “The reality is, we’re all kind of surprised at the continuing education effort this is going to take.”
