In the wake of several suits claiming she turned a blind eye to complaints of a toxic company culture, longtime Fox News attorney Dianne Brandi is stepping away from her role.
“Dianne Brandi is taking a voluntary leave,” Fox News said in a statement to Corporate Counsel, though the network did not say how long she will be on leave. An email to Brandi received an automatic response stating she is “out of the office.”
Brandi’s decision comes as 21st Century Fox Inc. and subsidiary Fox News face an executive shake-up—with recent exits including former co-president Bill Shine and former CEO Roger Ailes—and as the media giant is facing an onslaught of legal claims related to a company culture in which harassment, assault and discrimination are allegedly ignored or cause for retaliation.
