The discussion at Nov. 13′s Association of Corporate Counsel-Georgia continuing legal education program seemed a bit one-sided, but understandably so since the panel of speakers was a group of defense litigators giving advice to in-house lawyers about how to protect their companies against premises liability claims.
To start with, Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers partner Lynn M. Roberson defined “premises liability” as “any way that people can figure out how to hurt themselves and blame the owner.”
