Susan P. Reaman, a 30-year veteran of the Internal Revenue Service, has joined Nixon Peabody’s syndication practice as counsel in the Washington office.
In 1996, Reaman became branch chief of the Incentives Branch in the IRS Office of Associate Chief Counsel, Passthroughs, and Special Industries. She oversaw and reviewed IRS regulations, rulings, and procedures for general business credits, including those related to low-income housing, new markets, renewable resource production, research, disabled access and historic rehabilitation, among others.
